hiring_blogQ4 is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to manage the support of client web sites and mobile applications hosted on our content management system. This full time role is responsible for front line communication with Q4 customers including hands on site updates, proactive maintenance and management of ticket escalation with a support team . We are looking for someone that clients love dealing with, is very organized and has excellent problems solving skills.


As a?Customer Service Specialist?at Q4, you’ll be working with a high volume of clients with web and mobile sites. Responsibilities will include:

  • Primary contact for client email and phone communication
  • First level hands on support, issue resolution within the content management system
  • Escalation of issues to appropriate support resources where required
  • Management of all support requests/tickets
  • Quality Assurance (QA)/Testing of support updates and of new web sites
  • Training of clients on the CMS
  • Proactive support, managed service of key clients
  • Track, prioritize, manage and report support issues
  • Non-business hour monitoring required


  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle fast paced, demanding clients and initiatives
  • Digital background ? Content Management System experience an asset
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Solid understanding of web and mobile technology
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Usability/best practices
  • Proven time management skills- able to handle conflicting priorities and juggle multiple tasks


  • Minimum 2-3?years of customer service experience
  • Digital/web experience a must. Technical, Mobile Apps and Financial experience are a bonus!
  • Working knowledge of PC and Mac-based environments
  • Experience with web support/ticketing systems
  • University or college degree
