Promote Your Success with a “Quarterly Highlights” Section

One of most frequently visited pages on your website is going to be the financial results section. This section contains the information that investors are most interested in. Knowing this, IR departments should be paying special attention to creating an engaging experience to makes the most out of the added attention.

However, what we’ve found is that companies will often only feature links to PDF documents, leaving users to find what they’re looking for and leave without any further interaction or engagement. With so many eyes on a specific part of your site, it makes sense to use that space to provide engaging content that gives your audience what they’re looking for, while also telling a story.

Eldorado Gold is an example of a company that takes their financial section and provides something more. On their Quarterly Highlights page, they feature a number of stats, documents and data, all presented in an engaging, attention-grabbing way.

As the user scrolls down the page, they are presented with a sleek animation that reveals numbers representing the company’s achievements, like their gold production and liquidity. Underneath this section, they also incorporate a “Results Archive” section at the bottom that allows users to easily search for the company’s press releases, financial statements, transcripts, and other important information.

Also worth noting is the option to filter the archive by date – for previous quarters. The dates go back until the year 2010, providing investors and analysts with easy and engaging way to access past quarterly results.
